When is the best time to sealcoat?

The temperature needs to be above 50 degrees for 24 hours for a proper cure of sealer.

How often should I sealcoat my driveway or parking lot?

Depending on how tough the winter weather and traffic are on your asphalt we recommend every 2 to 3 years.

How long should I stay off my asphalt after it’s sealed?

24 hours is recommended for proper cure of any sealer.

Do you add sand to the sealer?

Yes we add silica sand to all our sealer to prevent slick conditions and longer wear of sealer.

Do you spray or squeegee the sealer on?

We offer both spray and squeegee, the cost may vary depending on the size of the job.

When is the best time to lay asphalt?

We can lay binder asphalt with temperatures in the mid 40’s and still get it compacted. Surface asphalt should be laid with temperatures at least 50 degrees for a good compaction.

When should my new asphalt be sealed?

New asphalt should be sealed when it starts looking dry, usually 3 to 6 months then every 2 to 3 years after.
